Each entry is generated from the text rather than copied out of a lexicon. The table of forms is the engine spelling out every case, number, gender, tense, mood and voice the word can take — including the ones the New Testament never happens to use — with the Greek each stands for and how often it occurs. Under it is the account of how those forms are built: which part of the word never changes, and which slots do the rest.
Then every verse the word appears in, filed under the form it takes there, with the English parallel underneath, and the one English word the text gives it in that verse. Most words in the New Testament occur only once or twice, so most entries list the whole of their concordance.
What a word means is quoted, not written here: Abbott-Smith's Manual Greek Lexicon (1922) and Strong's (1890), both out of copyright, both named on the page. Biblang writes no definitions of its own — a definition is a judgment about the Greek, and the rest of this site represents the Greek rather than judging it.
