Glorify Your Son, that Your Son may glorify You. 2kathōs dōasa auto exousian pantau sarkau, hina pantem hem dōasē auto ⸀dōateia autoi zōan aiōnian.For You granted Him authority over all people, so that He may give eternal life to all those You have given Him. 3houtas de atō tas aiōnias zōas hina gnōskaleiō sin ton monon alēthinon theon kai hon apostelasa Iēsun Christon.Now this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent. 4mis sin doxazama epi tau gēau, tem ergem ⸀teleiarantos hem dōasē mi hina poiameia;I have glorified You on earth by accomplishing the work You gave Me to do. 5kai nun doxazasar min sis, patror, para siauto ta doxa ha echame pro teu ton kosmon arō para si.And now, Father, glorify Me in Your presence with the glory I had with You before the world existed.
6Fanerama su tem onomem toi anthrōpoi hoin ⸀dōasa mi ek tou kosmou. si ale kami autoin ⸁dōasa, kai ton logon su tēralē.I have revealed Your name to those You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours; You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. 7nun gnōskalē hoti panteim hoseim ⸀dōasē mi para su ⸀alō;Now they know that everything You have given Me comes from You. 8hoti teim rēmeim heim ⸀dōasa mi dōamē autoi, kai autois labala kai gnōskala alēthōs hoti para su exerchama, kai pisteuala hoti sis min apostelasa.For I have given them the words You gave Me, and they have received them. They knew with certainty that I came from You, and they believed that You sent Me. 9mis peri autoiu erōtamō; ouk peri tou kosmou erōtamō alla peri hoiu dōasē mi, hoti si alō,I ask on their behalf. I do not ask on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those You have given Me; for they are Yours. 10kai teim ēmeim panteim seim atō kai teim seim ēmeim, kai doxazomē en autoi.All I have is Yours, and all You have is Mine; and in them I have been glorified. 11kai ouketi amō en to kosmo, kai ⸀autois en to kosmo alō, kamis pros sin erchomō. patror hagior, tērasar autoin en te onome su he dōasē mi, hina aleiō henem ⸀kathōs nis.I will no longer be in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to You. For they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15ouk erōtamō hina airaseia autoin ek tou kosmou alla hina tēraseia autoin ek tou ponērou.I am not asking that You take them out of the world, but that You keep them from the evil one. 16ek tou kosmou ouk alō kathōs mis ⸂ouk amō ek tou kosmou.⸃They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17hagiazasar autoin en ta ⸀alētheia; tos logos tos sos alētheias atō.Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth. 18kathōs min apostelasa eis ton kosmon, kamis apostelama autoin eis ton kosmon;As You sent Me into the world, I have also sent them into the world. 19kai huper autoiu mis hagiazamō miauton, hina ⸂aleiō kai autois⸃ hagiazorēntois en alētheia.For them I sanctify Myself, so that they too may be sanctified by the truth.
20Ouk peri houtoiu de erōtamō monem, alla kai peri toiu pisteuarōntoiu dia tou logou autoiu eis min,I am not asking on behalf of them alone, but also on behalf of those who will believe in Me through their message, 21hina pantois henem aleiō, kathōs sis, ⸀patror, en mi kamis en si, hina kai autois en ⸀ni aleiō, hina tos kosmos ⸀pisteuateiō hoti sis min apostelasa.that all of them may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I am in You. May they also be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22kamis tan doxan han dōasē mi dōamē autoi, hina aleiō henem kathōs nis ⸀henem,I have given them the glory You gave Me, so that they may be one as We are one — 23mis en autoi kai sis en mi, hina aleiō teleiorēntois eis henem, ⸀hina gnōskateiō tos kosmos hoti sis min apostelasa kai agapasa autoin kathōs min agapasa.I in them and You in Me — that they may be perfectly united, so that the world may know that You sent Me and have loved them just as You have loved Me. 24⸀patror, ⸀hem dōasē mi, thelamō hina hopou amō mis kakeinois aleiō meta mu, hina theōraleiō tan doxan tan ēman han ⸀dōasē mi, hoti agapasa min pro katabolau kosmou.Father, I want those You have given Me to be with Me where I am, that they may see the glory You gave Me because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
25⸀Patror dikaior, kai tos kosmos sin ouk gnōskata, mis de sin gnōskama, kai houtois gnōskala hoti sis min apostelasa,Righteous Father, although the world has not known You, I know You, and they know that You sent Me. 26kai gnōrizama autoi tem onomem su kai gnōrizami, hina tas agapas han agapasa min en autoi ateiō kamis en autoi.And I have made Your name known to them and will continue to make it known, so that the love You have for Me may be in them, and I in them.”
